Author is a partner to sportsmen
Cooperation with the professional road cycling team of PSK Whirlpool – Author belongs with no doubts among our major partner activities. We started supporting the team as early as in the year 2005 and we were a part of many international achievements. In the year 2008 we were present when the team joined the category of the professional continental teams. Only twenty two racing teams succeeded in becoming members of this second highest world category – only the reputable ProTour is higher. Our team was the only Czech representative, which was able to meet the strict criteria of the International Cycling Union (UCI).
However we cooperate not only with road cycling teams, but also with two MTB teams. Alpine Pro - Author Team is one of them. This semi-professional team is achieving great successes not only in the domestic scene, in particular thanks to its greatest star – Václav Ježek. The second team we support is a purely “amateur” team, but not with amateur results – Author Masters . Presently this team consists of 8 racers with the task to participate especially in the czech largest mountain bike racing series – “Kolo pro život” (Bicycle for Life).
Petr Vabroušek , a category of his own, does not need any more comments. He is one of the best Czech triathlonists in history. What is worth mentioning are his successes in the Ironman World Series, where he regularly occupies the top ten and getting to the victory rostrums is not an exceptional event. We have been supporting him since the year 2003 and as he says “at last, after many years of using bicycles of the top world manufacturers I have found top quality also in the Czech brand, so my choice was clear!”.
Tomáš Slavata , a professional sportsman and a member of the modern pentathlon team of Dukla Praha. He finished 14th in the World Championship in France 2004, 12th place in the European Championship in 2005 and the 20th place in the World Championship in Monaco 2007. He is a sportsman able to fulfil his dreams and to fight for them. Presently he also works as a chief coach of children and youth for the athletics team of Atletika Tábor, which gives him opportunity to prepare himself.
